The OM2 features a Hypercardioid polar pattern that reduces bleed from other instruments on stage, maximizing vocal clarity and intelligibility. Add to this Audix’s VLM (Very Low Mass) diaphragm with a wide, natural frequency response and rugged steel spring grill/cast zinc alloy body and you have the 1-2-3-4 punch that is the Audix OM2.
Roadworthy construction includes the precision die cast zinc alloy body, black e-coat finish, laser etched model and serial number, dent resistant steel mesh grill, Switchcraft® XLR connector and heavy duty nylon clip.
