Richard Duffney is the Guitar department manager and our in-house guitar repair expert. He first began playing guitar in 1975 and over the years has played with a number of successful bands and toured extensively. To this day, he continues to play out and understands first-hand the demands touring puts on gear.
In 1987 Richard took his first stringed instrument repair course and continues to hone his craft to this day. He’s hand built many guitars and repaired countless instruments from classic Gibson’s to entry level Fender Squier Strats and everything in between.

Luke Sheffield is the Pro Audio department manager and our resident technology expert. He’s completed a variety of factory training seminars from major brands such as Roland, Presonus, Peavey, Community and others, which has helped him refine his vast product knowledge. Luke has spent many hours installing and repairing sound systems in churches, clubs and businesses and his diverse clientele grows daily.

Emily Jarvela is the band department manager and has been involved in the band world for over fifteen years as a flute and piccolo player and as a teacher. She graduated from Pine Creek High School and went on to major in Music Education at the University of Northern Colorado. While attending UNC, she played flute and piccolo for the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and University Symphony Orchestra.
Emily graduated cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado and spent some time teaching band in Academy School District 20 at Liberty High School and Timberview Middle School. She has also taught flute privately for 7 years and has worked in the music retail industry renting instruments, working instrument testing fairs, and selling band music and accessories. Her passion for music and the inherent value of playing an instrument leads her to provide great customer service and ensure that both the budding and seasoned musician leave the store with exactly what they came in to find. .Email Emily
